This needs to fucking stop. Every single day people get killed as they try to get food while the western world is arresting people that say they don't want to see them die anymore. All the while governments around the world are looking into this issue with the same urgency and determination as deciding on a national bird.
There are numerous tools already out there for parents to use to monitor and censor what their kids see online. Schools have been using it since the Internet came out and it's only gotten more robust over the years. Not only that, but kids always figure out a way around this shit and will continue to do so until the end of time because that's just what they do. The only thing this does is punish everyone and implement more surveillance. And since people are people and kids are kids, there will be workarounds within days even without a VPN.

Everything luxury that the elite get to take part in is at some point reliant on the working class that they despise so much. And if you live in a country where workers have had it relatively good for so long you can't just take everything away that they have and expect them to still want to work. I'm just saying that these people are so detached from regular every day people that they think if they get rid of all the poor and working class people society will still somehow carry on without them.
While I share your pessimism, I also know that some of these dudes are just scared to lose their job. I'm not saying that they are innocent just that they are in the same boat we all are with our jobs. If I got fired I'd be bankrupt in a month if not less. I'm sure there are plenty of ICE that we don't see that are freaking the fuck out. The only ones we see in clips online are the ones that will immediately volunteer when asked if they want to go arrest some brown people.
And to reiterate, that does not make these guys innocent. They are complacent and watching this happen without lifting a finger to help. The "just following orders" crowd, if you will.

Well, you did actually. You just decided to ignore what everyone was warning you about and call it "fear mongering." People have been warning you since July of last year and you specifically chose to ignore it.
The same reason every politician and government will never release them, because they are trying to protect themselves or someone else. As long as money and power remain the only things politicians care about this will never get released. And I find it absolutely infuriating that these people will always prioritize reputations over the literal r*ping of children. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of people just blatantly getting away with it because apparently every single elite is in on it.

And the shitty thing is when this happens they end up pricing people out of cheaper areas. And I don't fault them at all, it's exactly what I had to do. But the reason I had to do it was because I got priced out of my own town and couldn't afford to live there anymore after my hometown got flooded with people looking for cheaper housing. Back in the 80s my parents bought their house for about $50,000. Nowadays that house is worth well over $800,000 with almost half the neighborhood as Airbnbs. And for context, my dad was making $5/hour back in the day while I make $25/hour. I make 5x as much as my dad did back then yet the houses are about 15x times more expensive. And where I grew up a cheap log cabin with an outhouse and no internet is going for $200,000 or more.
