I've started a few new shows lately:
I have a Crush at Work - meh. I watched the first episode and dropped it.
Armored Trooper Votoms - I've watched two episodes so far. Hard to evaluate off of that, but I think I'll keep watching a while longer.
Terror in Resonance - Pesky terrorists doing terrorist things. Why are they doing them? What is their goal? The show has dropped some vague hints, but so far it seems very unclear. It seems to want me to believe that nobody is being killed in these attacks even though there's rubble falling onto sidewalks from dozens of feet in the air. I guess "a good terrorist doesn't kill other people" or something like that.
P.S. I would totally watch 3rd Girl Fighter Wing if it’s an actual anime
They did a 1 episode OVA of it.
If you're looking for a serious story, Iron-Blooded Orphans is really good. It's not quite as bleak as the title makes it sound.
On the other hand, if you want something a bit more light-hearted I highly recommend Mobile Fighter G Gundam. It's just fun, and it has most of my favorite mobile suit designs in all of Gundam.
Ugh, I signed up for Crunchyroll back in the day when I only used two or three passwords for everything instead of using a password manager. Welp, time to finally change a bunch of passwords I guess.
Prospera is now having a picnic with Suletta and her keychain sister, despite the fact that she just wiped out an entire fleet and almost had both her daughters kill each other
That felt weird to me too. What is Prospera doing in anything but a prison? And she even still has a relationship with her daughters? At least let the rich face consequences in my fantasies!
So far I think they've only announced a model for the GQuuuuuux itself, though others will doubtless follow. A few youtubers have gotten their hands on the kit, and impressions seem mostly positive. It looks like it'll have great articulation, but some of the finer details will be achieved with stickers rather than increasing the number of plastic pieces. That isn't unusual, and the stickers are decently nice so it's not a huge deal, but it's nice to not need to bother with them. Of course you can paint those parts instead, but there are plenty of people who won't want to do that.
It's actually been out in Japan for a few days now, so hopefully we'll get some English reviews soon.
I agree that this show got too complex for its own good. I've seen a lot of speculation that maybe it was originally intended to have more episodes and that's why the second season felt so rushed.
As an aside, The Witch From Mercury has some of the best budget model kits Bandai has ever made. Something like the High Grade Aerial kit, which can be found for <$20 USD, would be a great choice if someone wanted to give building gunpla a try. If there's another suit you liked more, well, pretty much all of the high grade Witch From Mercury kits are both affordable and great.
Wow! Here I was thinking the 14 chapters I read were all that existed! Definitely did not wake up today expecting to read about Ubuntu Touch mockups and the unpopularity of Windows 8.
Oh yeah, maybe the older Desmond brother practices keeping his mind blank so that there's nothing to be read; he is the one who suggested Donovan might have that ability after all.
What makes you think they're not going to do something worse in the future? Knowingly pointing people towards an abusive company is signaling to that company that this is fine and we're willing to bend over further.
Very thoughtful!
Also wow, poor Sousuke. We've had various glimpses of Sousuke's family life, and it's generally been negative, but seeing that his mom was so mean to him that she has a reputation in the industry for it really drives it home.
