I remember a story about a remote town that needed a bridge replaced. And the federal government was dragging their feet about it until the town wrote to the Soviet Union about helping them build the bridge.
I put forth the motion that Tuesday is the worst day. Monday is Monday, but it is a fresh start, at least. The week could still turn out ok. Wednesday is at least the half way point. Thursday is good because it is almost Friday. And Friday is Friday. But Tuesday has nothing going for it, it's Monday without being a fresh start.
George Carlin talked about this, "Take a shit? You don't take a shit, you leave a shit! That's the whole idea!"
