I use DuckDuckGo App Tracking Protection on my Android phone (it's also available on iPhones, just open DuckDuckGo mobile browser --> Settings and enable it). It blocks a huge amount of data sent from apps you would image don't send anything at all. Your gender, all details possible sent for unknown reasons.
