Hoo boy, I can't wait to see how the State Department try to spin this one.

Edit: who am I kidding? It will be "Israel has admitted this was a mistake and we believe they remain committed to minimizing civilian casualties".

Edit2: Ah, no. Turns out they instead played the "We are waiting for the results of Israel's investigation into its own actions" card. Was a 50/50 chance.

My favorite way to tackle these rooms requires a little prep:

  1. Stand back from the door and throw a random object to keep it open
  2. Step on a swiftthistle or otherwise activate hourglass trinket to freeze time
  3. Toss a potion of paralysis into the centre of the room, immediately followed by a potion of toxic gas and then a a liquid flame for good measure
  4. Wait for time to come back and watch the damage meters/kill messages go brrrrrrr.

If all goes well, you should only have one of two stragglers left at the end to finish off, if at all.

Saw this yesterday - really great retro horror movie that doesn't rely on jump scares. They nailed the late 70s feel of the whole thing.

I use FLAC for long-term storage, 256kbps Ogg when transcoding for mobile devices.

Opus is the best lossy codec in terms of efficiency, but many devices/apps don't properly support it.

Why are we giving this odious little twerp the oxygen of publicity?

They make a good point. Mad Max is a relatively niche IP, compared to your usual Blockbuster action movies. Furiosa is a little overlong, and violent. All-in-all, offers a limited appeal unless you're already a fan of Fury Road.

Most Catholics tend to lean much more towards an allegorical interpretation of the Bible when compared to, say, Evangelical Protestants. They also tend to quote scripture a lot less.

Yeah, without evidence that Activision/CoD were intentionally in cahoots with arms manufacturers, this is pretty flimsy.

I do think the case against Daniel Defense is stronger, though. I can see a legitimate argument being made that guns should not be advertised directly at teenagers and young men, and that firearms shouldn't be advertised on social media in general.

Saw the new movie today. It's not as full of CGI as the trailer makes it look, but, granted, it's more noticeable than it was in Fury Road. There are still some great practical stunts in it, though, it was still an enjoyable experience. 75% as good as FR, for me at least.

And that's an X with a Chinese pronunciation, no doubt.
