Of course you should accept how they want to be treated, but they are still children and if life altering decisions have to be made, then it should be perfectly clear that the reason for that won't change. What are you going to do if your child regrets that decision? You can't turn time back.

Don't know why you get down voted so much. I'm absolutely for bodily autonomy but children at that young an age? No way are they possible to make a decision that affects their entire life. Everybody saying otherwise.. sorry, but that's delusional. You have to be realistic and you have to protect the kids. Letting them do what they want, when they want is not a recipe to follow.

Stimme dir aber voll zu. Generell muss es eine massive Bildungsreform geben, da nichts mehr zeitgemäß ist, wenn es das jemals war. Gerade Themen wie auch Ethik und Philosophie würden viel zum gesunden miteinander beitragen. Ganz ominös ist ja auch das nicht Vorhandensein von "How to soziale Marktwirtschaft", wo einem mal erklärt wird, wie alles läuft und zwar immer aktuell.

Sorry, If it wasn't clear to you. I thought it was obvious, so I didn't think much about it. I meant that those people, who pick on you for having sensory issues, are assholes. I also have problems with sensory input and if someone were to make fun of me for having these problems, I'd be absolutely livid about it.
