There are also quite a few here that are not of women (my block list is proof)

Oh, they updated it so I can exclude instances! That's extremely helpful...

But like another comment here mentioned, it doesn't index lemmit.online at all.

It's actually a problem on the imgur side on mobile, if you open the image link (and get a not-found page with a random SFW pic) and switch it to desktop mode then the real image loads.

This script has the same issue for me as the built-in auto expand: the images on screen (and some distance away) collapse when I vote on a post.

The whole feature of auto expanding images is specific to this instance (it's a patch the admins added) so it doesn't apply to the main Lemmy repository.

I don't think there's anything wrong with using them as like/dislike buttons on LemmyNSFW. This isn't a "does it contribute to the conversation" instance for the most part (this particular community being an exception - I upvoted this post because it's worth discussing even if I disagree with OP's request)
Porn is a subjective art, and some is better or worse as judged by a given audience. I want the things people like to rank higher than the things they are meh about, and the things they actively dislike to rank even lower than that.

As for the difference, a downvote is a much stronger statement. On the rare occasions that I do downvote here it means I truly want to see less like that for whatever reason, while posts I just don't care about I don't vote on, and I think that's an important distinction to have available. (There are so many times I've wished I could "dislike" Twitter posts...)

If large numbers of people don't want to see something in a particular community, perhaps the poster should consider posting it elsewhere or not at all.

To discourage off-topic posts, clickbait titles, spam image hosts, general low quality content, etc. The type of thing which isn't worth trying to report and might not be against specific rules, but still we want less of it.

That would put the work of crossposting on the submitters, and I think they are unlikely to bother doing so. (Unless !gonewild Only accepts crossposts from the specific communities, then it could work)

Please do split them, I would also ask that T also be split out into at least one community (Tf and Tm maybe?) - that way anyone can subscribe to a more precise set of who they want to see naked.

I don't think it will be a problem that posting frequency could be lower for some of them as long as each of the communities has prominent links to the others.
