K, and you may not wanna make it until we find out if we can even get the community. I haven't heard back from the mods about that, and an admin is kinda saying that the idea to unmod the community has been floated around amongst them for a while.

You can make a community private by setting up your own server and making it invite only. That’s the joy of the fediverse.
Yeah, but there's not way to set up a private community on a different server. Not every knows how to, or has the money to, make their own instance.
Yeah, I think the new account would be better, because for many people, if they look at your current account, they may see a bias and disregard what you have to say--even if you are right.
But again, only for the community. I have no problem with your main profile being as is. I don't agree with it, but I do support your right to say it.
So if you can't make a community private on Lemmy, why suggest it? And I'm already on Reddit.
Also, your profile is this. Are you sure you are gonna be able to remain neutral in a conservative community? Because if all this is in bad faith, then let's not waste our time. I was being honest in my conversation with you.
But that seems counter to what was said by a lemm.ee admin just three months ago. They seemed fine with the mods then. In fact, they said, "We have in the past had to shut down a few conservative-type communities over such things. Having said that, I am not aware of the current moderators of that community allowing, much less featuring, any kind of bigotry (in fact, a quick look over the mod log shows them actively removing bigotry, usually posted by users from outside lemm.ee)."
