And you have a population that largely supports the actions of the government.

It’s not the government just doing what it pleases, it’s doing what its population wants it to do.

Say it loud for those in the back, it’s not just the leaders.

Don’t protest. Document.

Make sure to take pictures of the people walking in, and to document the license plates of the RAM trucks and Dodge Chargers in the parking lot.

Guess maybe I fall on the wrong side of that divide. :-)

Are you suggesting LLMs aren’t powering ChatGPT, the AI front in the post is about? Or am I just missing your joke (which is possible?)

I figured. Here I am trying to visualize any way a f2f could even work.

I know you’re probably being facetious, but if not a female-to-female cord wouldn’t expose live wires the way a male-to-male one would. In fact, I can’t think of a way it’d be dangerous, and I can’t even think of a way it’d be useful.

LLMs are undoubtedly impressive tech that will get better with time. But to anyone singing their praises too emphatically I say ask it something on a topic you are an expert on; you’ll quickly see how fallible they currently are.

Don’t worry, the “apology” in the passive voice is still very much Max.

Interesting. Is that the old chassis or the new (notch) chassis. My first thought is damage somehow on account of it being second-hand.

Kinda why I put it as a “bonus,” as you’re right it’s subjective. For me, Apple trackpads are perfectly buttery smooth, and they get the accidental touch detection perfect (something my work Windows laptop drives me insane with.)

  1. The prices they charge for SSD upgrades is seriously laughably criminal. That said…
  2. You could choose to get a MacBook Pro, which starts at a higher storage tier. It’s still going to be more expensive than the air with the same size SSD, but you’ll get an inch larger screen and it is a seriously good screen.
  3. I’ve found after years of owning Linux and Mac laptops that I get years longer out of the Mac laptop, all things considered. They may be more up front, but dollars per year they come out ahead.
  4. MacOS is UNIX based, so you should feel right at home in terminal.
  5. Finally, take advantage of their education pricing. At least in the US, they don’t check for eligibility. So your $1399 1TB MacBook Air is now 1279. Feel a little bit better about that price?

Bonus. The trackpad is head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever used. For me, that’s worth the price of admission alone.

Grant Petersen designed #BridgestoneRB-1 (1989 in this case) has been a grail bike frame of mine for years.

This beauty showed up at a swap meet this weekend, and was complete and in great working order. Took it home for $250.

I have a full set of 11s 105 that’s going to make its way onto the bike, and I’ll keep the Suntour GTX components safe for the originalists out there.

Winter project nearing completion, but I am having decision paralysis on the last few pieces. I'm thinking of a honey colored Brooks saddle and color matching bar tape (shallaced cotton maybe). Then some tan sidewall touring tires. Which in turn would all match the honey colored leather of the bag.

My biggest questions are color options for the saddle, bar tape, and tires in contrast to the blue of the frame? And on the subject of tires, what would you choose? Wheels are 700c, and I think 32s would fit.

Oh ya, and eventually there'll be hammered silver Honjo fenders when I can find them.
