Foyle's War. A British drama about a detective in England during World War 2.

Excellent acting, and the period backdrop is very well-written. Gives you a bit of a sense of what it was like to live during that period.

I'm out of the loop, what's going on with RD?

No, it would not. Because in your system, one party has wrestled control by gerrymandering. Any support funnelled away to a third party helps them immensely. But that's obvious to anyone over 14.

Wow, I'm wondering how anyone would trust this software. It literally exposes your desktop. To me that requires top-tier trust level, i.e. nothing sketchy at all.

Quite a wild read. And the response from Harris is perfect:

In a press release, the Harris campaign called Trump “the most insecure man in America.”

Let me guess, the OP will choose to ignore this extremely relevant critical response.

I think the story this year is going to again be hitting struggles. We seem to be okay with pitching but Gausmann is struggling. We need him to carry his games late. I'm less worried about pitching than offence though. We get shut down by good pitching.

Brutal honesty: they aren't a very fun team to watch so far. I really hope that they can find some joy and play with some fire.

It's definitely a philosophy, and you have to understand the implications. But I'm not sure utility is in the back seat. It's just that you personally own your own config.

Candle is good for the phone, yes. Installed, thanks.

Thanks, yes, I have a CLI solution but I'm just looking for something to quickly check the markets via the browser. I am aware of ghostfolio, and yes, it is awesome.

I'm looking for some sort of simple market watcher application. One which will show the daily performance of a few selections of stock tickers.

I don't need a full portfolio tracker - I just want to be able to input some ticker symbols and see how they managed to fair on any particular day. I don't really like going to say, yahoo finance, because it's just so damn noisy.

Does any sort of solution exist?
