Agreed. The pitching has been quite good. Tough to hang games like this on Romano, when we runs seem to be either feast or famine.
bluetoque
I didn't make it to the end, just caught up via Jays in 30. I didn't see who was on deck, but man, maybe put Teo on base there. Tough loss.
Get Gausman some runs today!
Anyway, it seems like they are primed to make some sort of move. It'll be interesting. I'm quietly hoping for someone who can do serious damage with RISP. That's probably cost us the most this year.
They were saying Bellinger
Also, I was listening to Blair and Barker earlier, throwing out Nate Pearson as trade bait, and I was like noooooo. Of course it would depend on the return, but I'm interested to see how he develops.
I always seem to be travelling when they go on their summer west coast road trip. Going to watch the first few innings but may have to switch to radio and earbuds if the fam is trying to sleep.
Will be interesting to see what ends up being put in place. I hope they are smart about it. I'd like to see this team stay relevant for years to come.
What, is there no system tray? What was wrong with the system tray??
Yay, baseball! That was a long break.
So, I hate to go there, but the worst-case scenario is that Romano is gone for a bit. Who's our closer? Eventually I think it may be Pearson. But he's probably not ready for that yet.
Lower back may be a best-case scenario from what I was thinking when I saw him leave the game. Let's hope he bailed on the game early enough not to do any serious damage.
Nice, a sane starting time. Too bad they blew the lead late last night (I didn't see it). Let's hope for a series win today.
