@[email protected] yeah the first Trails is the definition of "a suuuuuper slow cooking of a story", but that's what I love about it.

@[email protected] after nearly finishing Azure, I definitely felt like I need to replay the Sky trilogy to understand some finer story details again...
But I also wanna get to that part in Crossbell in Cold Steel II asap, haha

@renwillis but I feel you! I'm on the final stretch of Trails to Azure, and after going through Zero and Azure right after another, I need a short break to dive into Cold Steel (again I have to say - I played the first two games already, but need a replay).
Suikoden HD Remasters are coming in a month so I will probably try and find something to play in-between...

@[email protected] nothing better than a longass JRPG to take a break from another longass JRPG

@[email protected] the Vita version back then had no turbo mode🥲that's seriously such a good addition! Even though it makes the 100 h playtime achievements pretty hard😅

@[email protected] that region was so cool, but also a bit tooooo large😅

@[email protected] Vandal Hearts is an alltime great - I love the fountains of blood!
The second part is probably more interesting in terms of story, but the gameplay was a bit ridicolous...

@[email protected] I played the first tutorial level like a hundred times at a friend's place, nothing better than drawing the rage of dozens of borg

@[email protected] Elite Force was SolO good

@[email protected] wait, Shadow of Memories was directed and written by Kawano Junko (Suikoden), why would they think it was Gozo Kitao? He was executive producer though

@[email protected] it had a really small run! I remember also it sold for 29€ in Germany, which was basically already a discount price. Still, one of the handheld's finest JRPGs, especially if you want something else than a Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy remaster...
