Just watched this today and as someone who managed to stay away from 4chan all these years it was a very insightful look into the origins of the meme.

in my experience “free speech” is code for far-right abuse geared to the most vulnerable people in society

I don’t think what you’re describing is gross

So you think that abusing vulnerable people in society is okay?

I feel myself struggling against this in almost everything I do. It prevents me from writing more often, it suppresses my replies in spoken conversations, it prevents me from participating in activism (though I desperately desire to do so), it slows my productivity dramatically, etc.

Hoping some of you have some advice on how to overcome what seems like such a simple anti-pattern.
