It started working again for me a couple weeks ago.

I don't get it.

Are you perhaps calling all of humanity a dragon?

I agree and think this a good shower thought, and also don't see it as a bad thing in general.

I've always thought that conceptually, background music is really strange - because of course it's Not part of the universe being shown to us (with partial exceptions like Guardians of the Galaxy) but is an added layer that only the audience experiences, and doesn't have a real-life counterpart.
Technically I suppose the same is true for something like subtitles, but those are more directly meta (they are clearly part of the mechanism of presentation rather than being presented as part of the show like music kind of is)

But that doesn't mean I think it shouldn't be there (Nor do I think OP said so) - it's just a weird thing we all accept as normal because it Does enhance the experience (usually)

Actually doesn't sound too bad, just makes it a parental control thing.

The Google system mentioned at the end sounds like a nightmare of false positives and negatives.

Better than raising them helicopter style in my opinion.

Character from an anime called Re:Zero

Edit: I guess I got whooshed? I haven't seen the show yet, just know what some characters look like.

Yeah, people seem to confuse speed and position. Being farther back does not imply slower, and the increase in visibility often means I can make better lane changing decisions, so it ends up actually faster.

Just because that song never ends, and just goes on and on, my friend...

I see the sentiment that money should be abolished here all the time, but this is the first time I've actually seen a proposed replacement. It's an interesting idea.

That is a controversial opinion here.

(And I agree with it. I don't know what the way is, but I hope it can be found)

"historical" means failed, right?

Boost does not open them when tapped, flashing an error instead.

There are unfortunately some subreddits which are still the best place to find timely info about certain topics - for example video game subs run by the developers of the game. Lemmit is a way to subscribe to those while not giving Reddit any more "engagement" or ad views.

The bot that runs Lemmit only posts on its own instance, so users like me only see it when we subscribe explicitly (or the All view I guess, but that's a mixed bag already. Edit: and each user could choose to ban it if they want)
