I use roasted peanuts in a pressure cooker because I can't find raw peanuts anywhere. Works great.

No, not quite. It's the same as if you were eating a hard candy, just savory instead of sweet.

Yea, it's because it's not nearly as sweet as real sugar but can still act as the proper binder for the "candy"

My gramin instinct fits this description. Mine is 1st gen and if I didn't use it for gps activity tracking the battery would probably last 2 weeks. Think I've had it for 4 years now.
