FH is more arcade than simulation compared to GT, very different feeling games.

When I was putting together my NAS, WD was selling their NAS grade drives without disclosing they were SMR. They got hit with a class action for this.
They’re all trying shady shit, no HDD will run forever, no corporation cares about you, so use whatever you want and backup your data.
I have 114TB of Seagate drives right now and they’re fine. I’d use WD too, or HGST. The fanboyism around HDDs is so strange to me.
Pilot error is a convenient way of ignoring the systemic causes of the crash.
I don't think so. I've had the same gmail address since 2004 and I don't notice it being particularly bad right now. It comes and goes in waves.
Bandcamp/torrents -> Plex -> Plexamp is my go to. I try and buy as much music as I can (especially physical) but I'll grab a torrent once in a while.
Plexamp kicks ass, I am amazed at some of the radio station mixes it does. With electronic music I've had some incredible beat matched crossfades that blew my mind.
you know nobody is reading your emails
Can't they be read by someone who's compromised whatever server the other person is using? Since email isn't encrypted, couldn't anyone who picked up the traffic on the way to your server also read that email?
Kids items have been cheaper as long as I can remember. I guarantee a restaurant you’ve been to has had two identical items at different prices, or things that are cheaper and you get more of the thing. The only thing modern about this is taking a screenshot of your cart.
I thought the innovative part was using more efficient code, not what it’s trained on.
Picked up a Rotring for my wife a while back and she constantly gets compliments on it. Really nice weight and feel to it.
I went to a hot spring in Colorado that was like this. The steamy water flowed out of the side of a hill and trickled down to numerous pools at various temperatures. There was snow everywhere and an absolutely frigid creek right next to the hot spring pools. Steam rose from the piping hot water obscuring anything more than 10 feet away. Clothing optional after dark. Beers stayed cold because the air was below freezing.
Getting used to the hot spring temperature, going for a quick dip in the below freezing creek water, then back to the hot spring, was quite an experience. I don’t think my nerves could handle the violent change in temperature. When you’d switch either way it was like getting simultaneous burned and frozen with hot ice for a few moments until your nerves could catch up to reality.
I used to read encyclopedias and instruction manuals for pleasure as a child. As an adult, I now read Wikipedia, tech white papers, and scientific journal articles. You absolutely can read for pleasure online. It’s not all garbage.
You know that drive has a 1 year warranty, right?
HDDs have a bathtub failure curve no matter who makes them.
