I don't have much to say except this take is flat out incorrect

People that play a lot of videogames are more likely to live an insular life detached from the real world

A fair few niche subreddits did, at least FOSS, privacy, piracy, etc. Subs

You know that you could have written a comment that doesn't make you look like a terminally online fucking loser?

OP wants to use Soulseek which is P2P and requires port forwarding.

The post doesn't mention seeding or torrenting whatsoever mate

Yep, but not Ireland

Bout time the "Ireland" section was removed

Power mods are one of the main problems with reddit. The same thing is already happening with Lemmy.

This is concerning because it allows for control of what becomes popular content.

on the model I think. They're designed to run at very high temperatures though. Ideally it should only get hot when in highperformance mode and when gaming or doing intensive tasks, but mine gets hot every time I plug it in (always been like this, think its a defect). But yeah, it shouldn't get hot when browsing, casual use etc.

Also, mine has been running at over 90°c for thousands of hours in total

Actually one more thing, its not ideal to have it that hot because it causes thermal thermal throttling (performance drops).
