Similar experience here, though from classical music to fintech. The business seems to value marketing and nepotism considerably higher than skill (beyond basics) and artistic merit

Still practice and do some work, and what would have been a miserable wage is now a pleasant bonus.

It is mentioned, mostly because the norwegian constitution takes inspiration from the american and the french ones. Though as revolutions go, the american one is considerably less covered than (one of) the french or russian ones.

I mean, depending on the setup and the quality of coffee it can be... Not cheap. Takes a while to break even on a premium espresso machine and grinder and specialty coffee. And the gadgets... Still bought a beefy machine (used) though, because I want my espresso damn it.

Got an Ecovacs omni x1, and it is so great to always have clean floors.

One of my best purchases was an Omnium Mini-max cargo bike. It covers so many trips where I felt the lack of a car was a hinderance, and provides a ton of fun besides. Just wen't bike touring with the thing, and the volume advantage compared to a regular bike setup allowed me to bring such luxuries as an actual, real, authentic pillow.
