Started watching the Silo show and got tired of waiting to see what happens next, so I picked up Wool and read through it in a couple days.

I just don't see the point? I had to learn cursive in elementary and haven't used it at all since then. There has to be more valuable things these kids could be learning.

It's actually painful to open r/canada up just to see another NP article making nonsense arguments upvoted to the top

The CRTC is worse than useless, I would be genuinely shocked if they did anything to hurt the telecom oligopoly

Like a lot of features in the game it just seems like the AI has no idea how to properly utilise them, meaning that all they do is give the player an even larger advantage than they already had. I’ve never seen the AI properly utilise monopolies or secret societies. Then there’s heroes and legends and the zombie mode which just don’t really fit with the feel of the rest of the game. As for Barbarian clans, it’s one of the better ones, but it results in way too many city states by the end of the game.

I usually disable the add on game modes like secret societies and such. They’re pretty unbalanced and don’t do much for me.

What the fuck

Really? I agree that Old Blood wasn’t as good as the main games but I definitely enjoyed it as an add-on to New Order. I suppose it does go a bit off the rails with the Zombie stuff lol

Trust me, I know. As someone living in Alberta right now the future is scary.

Imo it all comes down to finding. Politicians don’t want to spend money today even if it will yield huge returns for society down the line. The healthcare sector is hugely prone to market failure and cannot be left to private industry.

The newer Wolfenstein games (new order and new colossus) are both great. Totally crazy alternate history plus you get to shoot nazis. I really hope they end up making a third one.
