Not in Europe.

Here, businesses and craftsmen use either vans like the VW T4, Renault Master or Ford Transit, or smaller "cargo station wagons"/small vans like VW Caddy, Renault Kangoo etc.

These offer way more practical room on much less traffic space.

What does your commute look like? Distance, hills, etc?

Do you need to transport luggage? How much?

What bike are you currently riding?

Are you looking for something more comfy or more sporty?

That bike is going to get you places, I love those utilitarian Giant bikes :⁠-⁠)

Flatterte gerade via Mastodon bei mir rein:

Es ist völlig legal Fahrräder auf Parkplätzen abzustellen, seit Januar auch bei Gebührenparkplätzen. Nicht nur Fahrräder. Auch E-Scooter. Und davon stehen ja genug in der Stadt quer auf Gehwegen, da stolpert man ja ständig drüber.

Bitte sorgt dafür das Fahrräder und E-Scooter korrekt auf einen Parkplatz geparkt sind, so wie es die StVO regelt. Danke.

Wenn Du so kurze Strecken fährst, muss es kein 30kg SUV E-Bike sein - im Bereich 15-20kg gibt es da inzwischen auch einiges, das man noch die Treppe rauf und runter bekommt.

Denke auch, dass ein E-Bike in Deinem Fall die beste Option ist.
