I agree that it should be more clear, but I would swipe up to answer. Just makes more sense to me than swiping down.

While nationalistic ideologues seem to dominate the political violence in Japan and the US, it's a bit disingenuous to assign blanket statements to these things.
I don't get why people think Japan is bereft of political violence. It's been a steady occurrence since the early 20th century (history: https://theconversation.com/shinzo-abes-killing-the-history-of-political-violence-in-japan-186679). Here are some recent occurrences from this article:
- 1990: Motoshima Hitoshi, was also the target of an unsuccessful assassination attempt by a right-wing extremist over public comments he made regarding Emperor Hirohito’s war responsibility https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1990-01-18-mn-323-story.html
- 2006: Senior Liberal Democratic Party politician Katō Kōichi’s home was subject to an arson attack by a right-winger angered by comments Katō had made critical of prime minister Koizumi Junichirō’s visit to Yasukuni shrine. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2007/06/01/national/kato-home-arson-nets-rightist-eight-year-term/
This whole comment chain is about how relying on the community to audit is a type of bystander problem. At least that's how I understood it.
Also worthy of a mention: you need to be so proficient in so many languages to be able to actually audit the code yourself. It's simply infeasible.
Respond to those people telling them that you were asking in good faith and the community cannot progress with responses like theirs. It's destructive, and it's gatekeeping.
Shot through the heart with a homemade gun. The shooter got two rounds off, so I'm assuming it was a 3D printed gun of some sort?
Edit: Nope, I've now heard from the times that it looked like a double barrel shotgun held together with black tape. Interesting!
Edit: Image of the shooter and his homemade weapon.
Pure fucking profit baby.
It’s more correct to say that they go along with them, whether enthusiastically or apprehensively, because it’s actually their optimal survival strategy.
Another good note on bourgeois proletariat acceptance of Western propaganda.
As for those anti-imperialists who don’t participate in this festival of xenophobia — and here I include myself — we have our own elitist consolation: we accept the tragedy of masses of gullible sheeple falling for cunning propaganda because having overcome it flatters our own intelligence. The more we condemn society’s stupidity, the smarter we feel in comparison.
This is such an interesting manuscript to read. Enjoying it so far. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thank god someone said it. We all knew it was true, but it's nice to read such a well written article on the topic.
Yeah I'm down to debate a little. I'm obviously getting some flak, but I just don't understand how they can be for abortion to be allowed any time and then say that if the baby is in bad physical or mental condition, you shouldn't because you're doing something awful? It's a contradictory claim.
