So, considering that the majority of the value of attending these schools is for networking and a school name that signals you've been selected amongst the best in the world, what's left after they kick out all the international students? You'd only get to network with other US citizens, which you can get just from any old state college. You're also not competing with the best in the world so you can no longer claim to have any kind of global standing.

This ultimately says that violence towards trans people is ok but that it is a problem when those who aren't trans are impacted.

For the people you want to reach with these kinds of stories, it is. I don't think there's much use in preaching to the choir.

This is a great argument for the possibility of changing some minds. You've definitely changed mine. My policy is unchanged though; I'm not going to set out with the goal of changing minds in online discussions.

Life is more expensive when you're disabled. That's not news. But why should you be mad about changes that help other people save money? What you should be mad about is that the savings are turned into extra profits instead of going towards making your tickets cheaper.

You can burn the eggs too. Storage for biochambers will eventually fill up and need manual intervention.

Where glass wins big is in reusability. We need to get people to refill/reuse their glass bottles rather than recycling them.

It could still be fossil fuel, but they're more energy efficient than burning the fossil fuel directly for heat.

I don't know how you manage. All of my stones go toward train tracks and landfill, and I still need to import more to keep up. I'm even using enriched resource settings.

more then €50,000 a day

This should be based on the salary of whoever is lowest paid within the company and all companies that they buy from recursively.

With the rapid advances we're currently seeing in generative AI, we're also seeing a lot of concern for large scale misinformation. Any individual with sufficient technical knowledge can now spam a forum with lots of organic looking voices and generate photos to back them up. Has anyone given some thought on how we can combat this? If so, how do you think the solution should/could look? How do you personally decide whether you're looking at a trustworthy source of information? Do you think your approach works, or are there still problems with it?
