Boosting this, even though on Mastodon the comments to this post from Lemmy aren't shown.
Though it applies to the Fediverse, in this post I included the video "Let's play and win our own game!" by Darius Kazemi. The idea aligns with Snowden's and all kinds of strategies are discussed.
The Github Discusions is relatively new feature they added. I did not see many projects yet that are very actively using it.
