Yeah he seems to be back in the swing of things. He's even managed a quick turnaround on some videos recently which makes me wonder if he's intentionally made changes to his workflow to enable that. I know with season 1 he quickly got behind because he puts so much work into his videos.

Not Mastodon, but supposedly built on ActivityPub and plans to open federation some time in the future.

Death Gate Cycle is a classic, dragonlance-like fantasy. It takes itself noticeably less serious than WoT. But it's pretty fun, good cast of characters.
It's the first fantasy series I ever read so it holds a special place for me, even if WoT is my favorite.

I've read most of the Wheel of Time books more than anything else.
I recently did a reread of the Death Gate Cycle. Kinda felt like the prototype to the cosmere.
And recently reread the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy from Tad Williams
@mmasnick any interest in getting one of the beehaw.org admins on the podcast or something?

Oh that’s interesting. Maybe because I’m posting from my Mastodon account. I feel like I’ve had replies from Lemmy though. 🤔
@Landrin201 Ultimately, I have to say A Memory of Light is my favorite. Followed closely by Lord of Chaos.
A Memory of Light was just the final payoff of the whole series, and a story that had been with me for nearly 20 years. While I’ve only read this one twice, it definitely had the biggest emotional impact.
Lord of Chaos just had so much happen in it, it’s really easy to see why it’s a common fan favorite.

All for new IP, though I have to say that I bounced off of Outriders pretty much immediately.
@teft
I basically agree with this.
