"Break out the spikes, crank the volume, and throw caution (and maybe a little ink) to the wind! We don’t just mean safety-pin jackets and sneering bass players (though, yes please). We’re talking all the punks: cyberpunk neon alleyways dripping with rain, steampunk contraptions powered by way too many gears, dieselpunk sky pirates with questionable morals, solarpunk utopias basking in a golden glow, and of course, the classic rock punks who look like they were born in a leather jacket. Whether your muse is armed with a spray paint can, a pocket watch full of gears, or a keytar that shoots lasers, we want to see your rebellion on paper.
Inktober is about getting back to the raw essentials—pen, paper, and a refusal to play by the rules (which, frankly, feels pretty punk). No need for glossy perfection; we want grit, smudges, and lines that look like they came from the back of a mosh pit. Channel the attitude, the energy, the chaos. Maybe your punk is a cybernetic alley cat, a Victorian airship mechanic with brass goggles, or a rock star squid moshing under the sea. Whatever form your punk takes—cyber, steam, rock, or some beautiful unholy mashup—bring it loud, proud, and dripping with inky attitude. This week, don’t just draw… start a rebellion. 🖤"
