L’expérimentation de vidéosurveillance algorithmique (VSA) prévue par la loi sur les Jeux Olympiques était censée se terminer dans moins de deux mois. Pourtant, le gouvernement a déposé hier un amendement pour tout simplement prolonger l’expérimentation… jusqu’à la fin de l’année 2027. Le tout en s’affranchissant totalement des promesses faites ou des règles constitutionnelles.

Roscommon GAA, one of the 32 county boards of Ireland’s Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), recently made a significant change to its crest: It replaced the sheep on it. Previously a generic breed of sheep was being used instead of the more appropriate Roscommon Sheep, which is one of only two native breeds in Ireland. This all started because in 2023, local sheep breeders at a council meeting of the Roscommon County Council questioned whether the council’s own crest was using the wrong breed of sheep on their crest.

Reddit seems to have messed up recently in mass banning subreddits and claiming they were unmoderated.

On the main French subreddit, three threads [1] [2] [3] have been posted about its potential decline and available alternatives. As a result, since the beginning of the week, jlai.lu has seen around 100 new accounts created. I don't have the motivation to make stats about it (and I'm notoriously bad at maths), but that's more than what we've had in the past few months.

I was wondering if any admins had noticed a similar trend on their own instances? What has been your approach in welcoming this sudden influx of new users?
