I doubt that it was due to Socialism that China managed Covid so we'll - in fact I would even argue China is not a Socialist country.
Instead I believe it were the drastic measures that China being an authoritarian state was able to impose (e.g. locking down 13 million people because of 50 covid cases in Xi'an).
