This is essentially hiding the automatic denial of everything inside a black box, right? Everyone sees that? I think I'd rather they just randomly cancel 20% of the covered people. Why reduce the financial coverage in a way that will produce worse medical outcomes due to delayed treatment?

These are the same folks who want to claim some moral high ground in all their politics. They are grotesque.

I love this dude's channel. He covers all sorts of old tech, often obscure stuff.

Also, I love that one of my favorite obscure creators shows up in my feed on my favorite obscure social network. Lemmy is my people. ❤️

I do the exact opposite w my son. He's high functioning asd. When he was like 5ish, he would have panic attacks from just having dirty hands and nowhere to wash them.

Most kids probably do better with this stuff, but dont traumatize you kids. Jeez.

Yeah, my first thought was this isn't news. This is literally reporting that someone is doing their job.

It sucks that the goal in capitalism is just more money. Unions are how labor gets stuff in capitalism. Even if they aren't perfect, dont hate the player, hate the game.

I suppose what I mean is that he doesn't just have a big red button on his desk labeled Iran that he can press when he chooses.

We've stood up a system over many years, and he's just barrelled through every norm/law/etc. up to and including having his sentence reduced to 0 on felonies, simply because he's a politician. If we cannot protect ourselves from this man launching a nuclear weapon, or even hold him responsible, then we don't deserve to survive beyond our planet and the resulting catastrophic collapse of society may be the best thing for the universe overall.

Oh you're lucky. My wife and I got the "jungle theme" room in a similar establishment in Massachusetts. Our neighbors loved the place. We could hear them loving it the whole night.

Yeah, I know, man. I keep hearing people talking about this guy that loves tacos getting mad because there were no tacos at a parade... or something like that? Or the people in the parade ate their tacos wrong? I don't know. None of this stuff makes sense to me either.

I would have to think using nukes on a country that doesn't have nuclear power would be a slam dunk illegal order. Like, I mean, if he says to do it, the guys that make that happen, top to bottom, should say, "No, this is an illegal order, and i am not going to follow it."

If such an order is followed and nothing is forthcoming from some checking force in the federal government, I think i may have lost faith in humanity as a concept. This is the great filter. Can we be trusted as a species?

Until we arrest someone for contempt of court foe not following court orders, the beatings will continue.

Yeah, you have to actually have malice in your heart to go full republican. Dems can only muster a little self-righteous indignation.

Tidying up around the house, I went to put away the goodie bag from my dentist visit the other day.

Mini sensodyne! 2 Tubes! No sensitive teeth while I travel this year!
