Clouds in the sky of paradise
Paradise —
I hear smiles from where I gaze.

A dream in vain
To wander through these mountains of mist

I like the imagery of a murmur coiled like a frail animal on the edge of something.

Haha no that's not me. Though this comment made me check out their poem Moored for the first time. I like the imagery. Thank you again.

Yous are hyping it a basic verification system which can't be bought and is handed out for the sake of showing credibility is a good thing

Unknown unsaids
coil around my heart,
injecting censures —
Indifferent to the lighting

Above the fence
a morning glory stretches
still unsatisfied.

"It seems that the morning glory, like man, is never satisfied with its lot, and when it reaches the top of the fence along which it climbs, it keeps shooting upward where there is nothing to support it."

I vanish—
in the window,
snows of Eagle Peak remain.

Context: A death poem/the man's final poem before death. Shiko lived in the eastern section of Kyoto, in the foothills of the mountain called Washi-ga-mine (lit., Eagle Peak). He died during the height of the snowy season.

I'm very new to poetry so I had to search him up and wow thank you so much. This is actually the first feedback I've gotten to this one. From what I'm reading of him now he sounds like a very impactful guy. I'll be checking out videos on him later today and have added flowers of evil to my reading list

Evanesce into my dreams
Where I see that which has withered —
morphed and recoloured
Abnormal: undefined
Anchored to another to which I must refine
