Bought this used over the weekend because I have a whole pile of the Compact Jazz collection, and I've loved most of it. Looking forward to this one.

From Mad With Power fest 2024, which is a cool metal event

I agree, and probably Hesitation Marks right after.

Excellent album, and I dig that cover

Great album, and such an interesting cover. Personally, I think part of the love I have for this album was the hours spent playing Quake/Quake 2 with this as the backing. The interior has a nice continuation of the exterior aesthetic, IMO.

Oh, I need to check this one out, it's a new one for me

I mean, this is the CD Collectors sub, so seems a reasonable topic :D

For me, one of my more unusual is this Android Lust collection

Lords of the Trident are such a great band, and I love the artwork and effort they put into their physical releases.

It makes collecting these in physical form worth it, IMO.

Great band, and lovely vinyl!

Wow, those are so wild, I don't recall ever seeing anything but press photos of those

Gotta start my day with a classic (remastered) - the Rush 2112 5.1 remaster.

I'm such a fan of brightly colored vinyl

I can see that. I hope there are some up and coming punk bands in the US right now, because I just don't see how you can write about anything else

Time to listen to some punk and pretend not to notice that we're still having to be angry about the same things

There is, indeed, no sleep til.

Intergalactic is, though tbh, I think my most listened to are probably "Hello Brooklyn" and "Sure Shot".
Paul's Boutique is how I test the bass on new speakers :D

That's a fun impression :D A group that never took themselves too seriously

Rough morning, lots of meetings today. Needed to start on a high note.
