Is Searx(ng) really an alternative? Last I checked it's more like a front end to other search engines.

I really liked Flowit. I wish there were more of it (tho admittedly when I go back to it, I have often forgotten enough that it's fun again)

Canada Post wouldn't say those things out loud if they expected that most people would see it as "clearly evil". Sadly I think their expectations aren't completely wrong in this respect 😒

Actually, this was only the third such mode, after vi.el and vip.el, both of which were obsoleted by Viper (which itself dates back to ... many years ago)

I don't understand why "the app is now built reproducibly" implies "you need to uninstall it and then reinstall". What am I missing?

My main development machine has 8 GB, for what it's worth. And most of the software in use nowadays was developped when 8GB was a lot of RAM

Que je sache c'est rare de ne pas pouvoir structurer les projets autrement pour qu'ils soient plus petits/modulaires/incrémentaux. Ça semble souvent plus coûteux au départ, mais ça compense par un meilleur contrôle des coûts (et une meilleure adéquation aux besoins car on peut plus facilement réagir à leur évolution)

Montreal needs to significantly beef up its bus service. It's a lot cheaper and more flexible than REMs or subways
