If Harrell proposed it, its probably sponsored by the chamber of commerce and a bad idea.

I disagree, as kodi syncs jellyfin DB without issue for me and I much prefer its UX.

The nice part of jellyfin is that they support both kodi and a "jellyfin on kodi" experience natively. Plex has neither, with both being 3rd party apps where the support is hit or miss. I used "plexkodiconnect" for years and was glad for it, but it was a journey to keep working at times.

Here's a pretty good list to get started with:

Awesome Jellyfin

I think there is a pretty easy hack to making tax cuts unappealing to billionaires: pass a law that says each tax payer receives the exact same amount back.

Pass a 4 trillion dollar tax cut that works out to $4000/tax payer? Congrats, billionaires. Enjoy your 4k.

Plex was bought out by venture capital and has been enshittifing for years. "Free" media stream sources added riddled with ads that you have to opt out of, opt out "everyone can see what everyone is watching" features, nebulous "we need to upload hashes of your media to skip credits" privacy issues, abandoning apps for various platforms like kodi, on and on.

I have a lifetime pass, but no longer consider plex a viable platform. The issues are not baseless, but rather based on what plex has decided to do to make money.

Meanwhile, jellyfin is FOSS with no profit motive, no privacy issues, skips intros and credits with no issue, pulls subtitles down and indexes media flawlessly, and has native kodi clients with Database sync support so a show paused in one room can be resumed at the same point in another room.

Hard to beat "slick, private and free."

The addons are great too. The intro/outro skip is slick and nearly flawless, background subtitle download is seamless, on and on.

Seattle is pretty desperate for housing. 40k new units, especially municipal owned one since this is a city golf course, would be a huge stride forward. Seattle also just passed a ballot measure for city to build low income/mixed income housing directly, so this would line up incredibly well for that.

There are talks to convert this into a beautiful park too, but the city government is not interested.

This is the book, The song of Achilles. It is about Achilles and his lover Patroclus during the Trojan war.

I haven't personally read it, but I doubt aliens figure in heavily.

This is a municipal course as well, so Seattle could literally do this. The city government doesn't want to.

This heavily neglected sidewalk, next to the fenced off golf course, alongside a high speed and very busy highway onramp just 2 blocks from a light rail stop, tells you just how much the city cares about the area.

There is no excuse not to cleanup and widen this sidewalk except apathy and malaise from the city.

She does love to ghost ride that whip.

There is nothing preventing these cartels from retaliating in kind.

Drones are not difficult to source or build, and these orgs have weapons, manpower and 100s of billions of dollars.

They have nowhere near the arsenal of the US military, but this isn't an 800lb guerilla vs a toddler. This is an 800lb guerilla vs a 100lb guerilla. That small guerilla is still going to wreck unimaginable havoc in the US if the two fight.

No, it doesn't have a leftward pipeline. It recommends 2X as much right-wing content as left-wing content.

It may have had a left lean at somepoint, but it does not now.
