I have UBO (only addon installed), with default settings, and all filter lists disabled (because of system wide hosts).
Not sure if it is doing anything helpful...

I'm not searching perfect.
I'm trying to understand if custom with system wide hosts is the same as strict. Obviously not exactly the same, because of the hosts i choose.
I've read lots of different info and can't figure it out.

ETP - Enhanced Tracking Protection

  1. Any difference between ETP on strict mode, or custom mode with all options turned on?
  2. If i use custom mode with tracking content disabled and the other options enabled, and rely on my hosts file to block ads, am i good?
