If he didn't change it after his 8 year old yt video his instructions are definitely different:

  • no stirring directly after pouring
  • wait for 4 minutes
  • then stir
  • wait for at least(!) 5 minutes

Did you watch his video or follow a written instruction? I noticed you can't rely on those anymore.. My guess is AI slop, that gets it ever so slightly wrong each time, always go straight to the source nowadays.

I looked into it some months ago and if I'm not mistaken the dev referred to a "user profile" as "he" in an installation instruction text.
Then someone made a suggestion to change it to "they" and he answered that he didn't want politics in his project.

My thoughts were that "they" didn't fit and if changed, "user profile" should be "it" and not "they".

He didn't change it to "it" either though.. It's really not clear if it's just bad English, a case of don't tell me what to do or full blown bigotry.

My vote, at least for now, goes to overblown drama.

Prices in China:

BYD Atto 3: 16k USD.
BYD Seal: 25k USD.
Tesla 3: 32k USD.

Prices in Germany:

BYD Atto 3: 33k USD.
BYD Seal: 45k USD.
Tesla 3: 46k USD.

Comparing prices like you do just looks like bad faith. And I'm not saying this to support Tesla but to highlight that there is some serious BYD shilling going on here.

You want Tesla to compete? I guess the US already has prison slave labour and reduced safety measures for Teslas, it's just missing some billions of US tax money flowing in and you got what you wished for.

Not a good idea? But China doing exactly that is OK, because US bad equals China good?

Maybe putting tariffs on chinese imported EVs (like the EU does) is the reasonable thing to do to protect your own industry and jobs.

The only thing I don't like is the performance: It stutters ever so often and crashes like once every hour after a loading screen.

Weird thing is that it ran way better at the beginning and then got worse, now even the menu is laggy.

People in China pay money to be sent in a meat grinder for the off chance of becoming russian citizens if they survive!?

I just read the question from the other user why you don't isolate yourselves and just wanted to say that I'm thankful that you don't.

It baffles my mind how Lemmy is full of users agreeing that Trump is Putin's asset and that facebook, xitter and TikTok are full of propaganda but are too afraid to take the necessary stance here, like you are doing.

It must be tiring but you're doing Lemmy as a whole a big service and I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you!

Ohhh, they don't want a future conflict on their borders? Then maybe don't fucking start one, that was and will always be an option.

Alice Weidel. Friedrich Merz.

Luisa Neubauer ist eine Klimaaktivistin bei den Grünen.

Ihr Punkt ist vermutlich dass alle von denen mehr oder weniger das Gleiche (Faschisten) sind.

Just be aware that the creator is a climate change denialist and puts his personal opinions into the show.

Climate Town had an informative episode about it.

Not ironic it all.

The US condemns China for the treatment of the Uyghurs. US good, China bad.

China condemns the US for the treatment of the Palestinians. China good, US bad.

Both countries don't give a shit about either.

With all the justified criticism against VW, saying that they're "probably" funding the AfD is just taking it too far.

Here is an article from a political left newspaper, which describes that even though the AfD defended VW against the "Dieselgate", the company was not willing to supply them cars with a discount (which wouldn't be uncommon normally), because the AfD with its "nationalistic traits" stands in contrast to the fundamental values of the Volkswagen Group.

I understand the irony obviously, but we live in the present and not the past.
