I agree that the work isn't too bad if you're the right type of person. We have pretty good rules from OSHA.
TBH though the intergenerational employment and company towns angle makes it seem like all the rules are going to be discarded so I'm a bit concerned

I have both ADHD and extreme social anxiety. It feels unbearable to seperate from my devices as well, but the advantages of deliberately bearing the stress for minutes is worth it if you can latch on to something in the real world instead of in your phone/laptop/game.
