James and The Giant Peach was a favorite of mine when I was younger. I haven’t seen it in a long time. I forgot that Del Toro did Pinocchio. I plan on watching it soon!

I think it is great here on Lemmy but tbh, the content is limited. My enjoyment here is partly watching it develop. Im like 1 week in and I can see it growing day by day. I don’t think that is what most eventual users want to experience. They want it all set up with the party in full swing.
Are you referring to the one that the front fell off?
I was thinking about the news story how intermittent fasting is as good as calorie counting. How come no one looked at continuous feeding. Then we can try for a three day long poop with no break.

They were not on stems. The ones on the side of the trunk were connected to the tree like a shelf. the ones on top had a wide portion connected to the tree. I have a photo of the underside but I forgot which color it was that I picked to look underneath. The mushrooms were pretty thin, not thick and fleshy.

I’m near the end of The Ruins by Scott Smith. I am not enjoying it although it is enthralling and dreadful. I feel bad for everyone and they do such foolish things. The “villain” is terrible and relentless. I can’t not finish but it is NOT a fun read. Just misery.
I’ve only used memmy because its really good for what I need so far. I’ll definitely check out the other apps eventually but for now it is great!
