You're technically right.
When you say 'raise your hand' you are usually looking for approval though and implying that you one of those raising it.

It's seriously a great app, so I don't get the fuss about Sync either. I've been a Sync and Boost user before but I'm very content with the apps we already got for Lemmy so I won't throw in another one to choose from.
I've been switching between Liftoff, Voyager and Thunder because they all seem to good to just lose them right now lol
That's a long career to look back on!
I actually agree and appreciate your response. I was just poking a little fun at the "impossible" there but Firefox absolutely has been an invaluable voice for neticens all over the world.
Although a comment close below puts a little dent into that ^^

I guess, even if "it contradicts our principles and vision for the Web.", it might happen just like the past:

There's lists online of all the titles if you are curious. You might be lucky and see some of them again, it happened a few times that they brought back previously given games, too :)
SocialMedia ;)
I think FB and Instagram should be considered seperated although both owned by Meta. Anecdotally the people around me aged 20-30 only ever use FB for local groups and marketplace but not in it's original capacity.
Is the share menu on newer Android version still such a mess?
I'm on version 9 and every time the share menu opens it seems to pick a new random way to sort the available apps, no 'most used' or anything. And then there's this direct messenger/chat feature popping up above all the other apps suddenly as you're already about to tap which is truly horrifying.
The shutdown notice you link to only concerns the tedd.it instance not teddit as a project. Of course the other instances face the same issues though, so these alternate reddit fronts will probably still take a huge hit in user interest and development or even wind down since spinning up your own instance is to much hassle for a lot of people.
No need, there's enough other better suited places where news like this can be discussed.
Yes, thanks for pointing that aspect out. I get the motivation to collect data to serve ads but I wish to stay with privacy respecting options too and I hope the contributors to those clients see enough donations to make their efforts worthwhile as well.
