I moved just under 4 years ago, and I'm considering leaving. Thankfully I live in Barcelona which is much more liberal than Madrid and other cities. Unfortunately there aren't many other places to move to in Europe which are bucking the far right trend. Though given Madrid's history with fascism and how people are moving back towards it gives me pause.

I'd guess they were made an offer they couldn't refuse, ie money.

There are always power hungry people out there ready and willing to fill the roles. All they have to do is open the gates and let people apply.

I was struggling to understand why hot and active were showing only posts from days ago. I like both kbin and Lemmy though. Lemmy feels a bit more like classic Reddit to me.

Brush and floss your teefs every day. Don't pursue a well paid career you don't enjoy. Start saving money for your future, even just 15% of your salary each month. Cherish the time you spend with your parents. Don't waste money on material items to impress others. Don't rush into marriage.

Of course it will. The same happened when an influx of users migrated from Digg to Reddit. You can't stop people's tribal nature.
