What I heard some people said about the fediverse was that before email was controlled by big corporations you can host your own email and no issues. Nowadays its much harder for a regular person to do this because big corporations took control of the federated email. So to my understanding even this social networks are in danger of the same thing happening. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.
European VPS are really hard to work with it. And the most insignificant suspicion the system trigger they will start ask you for an ID with your face. Some recommendations so you dont get your account blocked : use an email from big providers outlook , gmail, etc. Also use a real phone and try to use your real name too.

I have mine installed on my Hetzner VPS and it blocks SSH autoscans and brute force attacks. It also has some list of IPs used for nefarious purposes. But remember security is not a one thing solution. If you are hosting something so crucial as a Vaultwarden , be mindful that you should protect all those accounts with two factor authentication in case of a breach. Also don't put all your eggs in one basket. Be safe
