Keeping DEI also will keep these companies out of legal trouble if/when federal DEI requirements come back. Keeping it puts them in less trouble than whatever happens for not kowtowing to this admin.

It's likely to lead to more incidents though, since just about anybody can operate them and will do dumb things with them. The geofencing at least limited the acts of stupidity, imo.
