I've had login problems as well. I just get permanent spinning wheel after clicking login. This is on Android btw.

There's a reason the term "debate bros" exists. Scientific inaccuracies are corrected by additional thorough research and data not by debate between two people.

If the punishment for a crime doesn't outweigh the profits then it's just the cost of doing business. Wake me up when any of these rulings and fees actually discourage the multitude of mega corps from commiting shitty and criminal behavior.

I appreciate your review but couldn't disagree more. At a certain point it was just noise and movement with no sense of risk or stakes. There were very few scenes that the choreography was actually unique and engaging, the rest just felt like judo throw, shoot or stab, repeat ad nauseum. The movie peaked with the Osaka scene and was downhill from that point forward. A shorter run time would have done the movie wonders as I wouldn't have been bored by the time we got to the third act. The stair scene (x2) in the third act guaranteed I won't be watching any future additions to the movie in theaters. But hey to each their own, lots of people enjoyed it enough to where another one being produced is very likely.

Completely agree. For every tool we have created to accomplish great things, we have without fail also used it for dumb things at best and completely evil things at worst.

The fact that age of consent was 13 in a developed nation is a good reminder that as far as we've come, human kind as while still has a long way to go.

Why post a 3 year old news article?

The person can barely be identified. So unlikely this directly shames or affects him. Furthermore, I think memes about things people can address (weight, clothing, etc) is fair game. If they cared or it bothered them they would change it. I've had jokes cracked about my weight and I laughed along with it because it didn't bothered me enough not to laugh about it. Otherwise I would be changing it. Now things out of a person's control (skin color, height, physical abnormalities, etc) should be off the table unless the individual explicitly states otherwise.

Hilarious. I don't see any of the big companies doing anything to fix this issue anytime soon.

Yup, sounds like CEO talking points made to seem like the interest at heart is for "the betterment of humanity" without any concrete action plans or evidence of where the previous system failed those standards. Where have we heard that before 🤔

It's mind boggling that the victim writing all of this is still delusional about Amazon making a change based on this incident. From listening to what Louise read it doesn't even seem like the victim is fully set on removing echo/Amazon, just "strongly considering it". At this point they deserve every bit of headache and misfortune that comes from continuing to deal with Amazon.
