Dungeons & Dragons, before that it was Bugs Bunny. Weekdays it was reruns of 1940s Tom and Jerry cartoons with all the violence intact.
Best advice my ol’ man ever gave me was “Always stand up for yourself, otherwise you might as well put a target on your forehead”.

I found them fun in the 90s. Now that I’m in my 50s and take longer to recover from bumps, bruises, and batons than I did in my 20s, it’s not as fun.
