Congress has proven to me over and over again that they don't, it's not about what I believe anymore.

I was gonna say Witcher 3 also. The Heart of Stone DLC especially. My eyes were sweating.

What is a good board game for beginners to expand in to? started with Catan, maybe looking to shake things up. in c/[email protected]

Betrayal at House on the Hill is the closest one I can think of to what you described. The best part of it is the board gets setup as you play so it doesn't take long at all to get going.

Dead of Winter is a zombie coop survival with a traitor. Setup is not super quick but it is pretty fun. And The Thing boardgame is pretty similar.
