I hope this is in response to credible intel that Trump is in immediate danger.

Like every other episode involves some train crash or other perfectly avoidable catastrophe. Granted, that's maybe their nepo mayors fault (her grandpa was mayor back in the day) but they're still very complicit.

(My daughter is 2, these thoughts are all I have to get me through watching it with her)

If it makes you feel better, just today out my window on a boulevard, a fuckton of angry teenagers were marching down the street with with Mexican and American flags chanting fuck ICE. I personally don't think they should skip school over a protest, but there's a lot of fight left in the world, even if it's not here on Lemmy.

That said, idk if it's recent news making me personally tired. I already have a 1 year old doing that, it's pretty bad timing for me to save the world. But you, keep fighting.

It's their kink, persecution fetish. It's in a ton of their movies, it's sometimes all they'll talk about. Daddy Trump just giving them a hit on that fantasy roleplay.

Aw, you think we'll still have permafrost by then.

I mean, bread sure but circuses aren't known for teaching much aside from clown college.

Ah, the same thing my dad's buddy said that got him blocked. "Turn it all to glass" ffs.

Yes, but it does buy time which might be needed for people to rally or, preferably, a few GOP house members to leave or die. After all, Trump is trying to overwhelm the system. Plus, while this is indeed the worst supreme court in the history of the court, they sometimes don't vote as a bloc.

Like, birthright citizenship is a pretty big leap for Roberts, possibly for anyone else aside from Alito or Thomas (Kavanaugh, the bastard, has even flipped before). But I'm not too hopeful, better if it didn't come to that dice roll.

At least there are judges halting things that are quite blatantly illegal. I'm not quite sure why Musk has not been apprehended, though.

Oddly, the recent thing in LA was via TikTok, but to be fair their knee bending is probably superficial at best.

Everyone just giving their opinion but the answer is mixed. Some regret, many don't. And it's not just disinformation, people have to deal with their own cognitive dissonance. Just on the radio earlier was an Arab man still defending vote for Trump because "it's just rhetoric" right now. He's willing to say it's terrible rhetoric, but won't come to terms with the vote being a bad decision.
