Since Facebook market place is the defacto classified now I keep my account around to buy and sell. My feed is full of AI generated images related to anything I search on market place. Right now it is all trucks because I was looking for truck tires.

Tasting is how you're supposed to do it.

I however just start throwing shit in and wait for the surprise at the end.

No shit right.

People need to stop anthropomorphizing corporations. They are not moral and simply respond to incentives.

They earned good will saying black lives matter and now they earn political will by saying trans lives don't.

Even now I'm pretty sure they have one of the best if not the best drivetrains. The problem is everything else is total trash and you won't be able to fix it if anything goes wrong

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this but it isn't all rainbows and sunshine in the trades either, especially for the self employed.

When you're young it's fine but as you get older your body starts to wear out and dragging water heaters out of some crawlspace or running wire in a non air conditioned attic becomes harder.

Still, sitting for 8 hours a day a desk can be bad for you too I guess. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

Honestly despite the enshitification those TCL Roku TVs are/were some of the better value smart TVs.

I bought a Sony on sale at Costco and it's a massive piece of shit. Randomly reboots, won't turn on, requires a factory reset every month to keep working. Android TV is a way worse experience than the Roku stuff I've used.

Dealerships for other brands in the US are independent privately owned enterprises not owned by the major auto makers.

Tesla doesn't have dealerships in this sense. They do have corporate owned locations in some states where they are allowed to sell directly to consumers however that is only some states as laws prohibit automakers from selling directly in many.

This is never going to happen top down. If you want actual electoral reform start working from there button up. We used to be allowed other forms of elections for municipal elections in Ontario but Doug fucked that up

They (and every other tech company) have been doing this type of thing for nearly 20 years. You might see some whinging about it in some corners of the Internet, like here, but most people don't know or don't give a shit.

It sucks.

Vertical tab key on the left makes me think they tore the keyboard out of an IBM Selectric ( or similar 1960s electric typewriter as I have not seen one with beige keys). Image is too blurry to tell if the left shift looks right though.

If they didn't just put it in an enclosure they made then it's probably a terminal of some sort like a DECwriter, but not that cause it looks like it only came in black.
