I've now moved onto the masterpiece that is Untrue by Burial though :D

I have just finished The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart and Jesus Christ was it a slog to get through. I dont know if it was the way it was written (auto biographical style) or something else but I found it took a really interesting idea / concept and managed to deliver it in the most mind numbingly dull way.

It went far too in depth on some of the situations described during the course of the book that I really felt were unnecessary and ignored other opportunities to expand on other, more interesting aspects.

On the whole I wouldn't necessarily say it was a bad book but would I recommend it to anyone? I doubt it.

After this I went back to my comfy place at the moment, being the deathlands books for number 46 to find they have changed half of the cast of voice actors in the Graphic Audio adaptation I listen to.

I guess it makes sense in terms of how long they will have been recording these books but the new voice actor for the main character is fucking dire compared to the one I'm used to and lends the character a different feel in a particularly negative way.

I'm not going to give up with them yet and I hold out the hope it will get better. Failing that hopefully I'll at least get used to these new actors.

On the whole a disappointing week!

Thanks for the tip and I will check, the only reason I thought it was app based is because I can sometimes use it for hours switching between things, leave it minimised for long periods and it'll not refresh. Other times it will do it repeatedly.

That doesnt explain why it is switching and refreshing feeds after I have replied to a thread though as I am not leaving the app so it should be staying in memory as it is active.

I have seen this a fair few times for myself but always thought it was some weird federation quirk, not actually sure either way though.

To be clear I really like the app a lot which is why I dont want to leave it for something else, it just has a few very frustrating things when using it daily!

I've never seen that "no routes" error page myself.

For clarification if Kuro reads this in regards to the refreshing issue I am using a Pixel 6a on Graphene OS. Tbf I didn't consider that maybe the refresh thing was down to my phone rather than the app.

As a long time enjoyer of right arrow use I have never had this happen to me, not even once.

Space bar not pausing / unpausing a video and skipping half way down the comments however!

I am definitely not qualified to diagnose anything but when I have had knee pain in the past the definitely didn't feel like a muscle it was still connected and I found a lot of relief from foam rolling.

Particular the upper leg, find points that hurt when you did deep with the foam roller and work on those points.

It may not help the issue but it is worth a try if you haven't given it a go.
