Ich nutze Reddit mobil via Apollo. Ich empfinde die Nutzung einer Webseite auf einen Phone als unkomfortabel.

Die mobile App von Reddit selbst Ist furchtbar und mit Werbung verseucht. Unangenehm zu benutzen.

Ohne Apollo bricht der Nutzen von Reddit massiv ein. Außerdem empfinde ich die Preisgestaltung als freundlich und prohibitiv.

Unterm Strich stirbt Reddit für mich, wenn die Preise aktiv werden.

Actually, that’s not true.

I run a single user Calckey instance (@[email protected], moved from a single user Mastodon instance) and it works just fine. The only difference: The local timeline is just me.

But other than that, it works perfectly fine.

Wouldn’t any peertube-instance be the most natural choice for videos? Pixelfed likewise for pictures.

Ukraine, really miss the content from that subreddit. Pretty much the only thing I really miss.

Sorry for being offtopic: Is there a section for Ukraine related news? (The Ukraine subreddit is the only thing I truly miss from Reddit.)

Never. Maybe I was just too stupid/ignorant at the time to get it. But nothing really unexplainable ever truly happened.

Es ist traurig, dass fossile Energiequellen noch immer billiger verfügbar sind, als erneuerbare. Nicht, weil sie tatsächlich billiger sind, sondern weil sie deutlich geringere Abgaben haben.

So funktioniert die Energiewende nicht.

Mostly via Apollo (app). The webpage is ok. I use it occacially. The Reddit native app is crap. I don't even have it installed (anymore).

If Apollo ceases to work, I will delete my Reddit account.
