AFAIK an average person uses MS Word and MS Excel at work. So GNU/Linux desktop may need to wait until people switch to Google Docs, which can be worse lock-in, but at least, it works on a GNU/Linux desktop.

ข้อสังเกตเกี่ยวกับการใช้ actix actor และ supervisor (lemmy.ml)
 

Actix มี supervisor ที่ช่วย restart actor ใต้บังคับ แต่บางทีมันก็ไม่ restart 😹

เท่าที่ทราบบางอย่างต้องส่ง Die (message) ไปให้ actor เวลามีอะไรพัง actor ต้อง implement ตัว handle Die message handler ใน handler ต้องเรียก ctx.stop (context stop) เมื่อ "Actor::stopping(...) == Running::Stop" poll function จะคืนค่า Poll::Ready จากนั้น supervisor ก็จะไปสั่ง restart ได้

ในกรณีของผมพวกนี้ทำงานไม่ได้เพราะสองอย่างคือ

  1. Actor หยุดแบบไม่ได้เรียก stopped function ดังนั้นทำให้ actor ไม่มีโอกาสได้ handle Die message เลย

  2. Actor ใช้ CPU เพราะเกิดกรณีที่ผิดพลาด ดังนั้น poll function ก็โดน block ไปเลย ทำให้ actor ไม่สามารถ handle Die message.

ผมแก้กรณีแรกโดยเรียก tokio::time::sleep และกรณีที่สองโดยเรียก break ออกจาก loop

ปล. ผมไม่มั่นใจเรื่องที่เขียนเลย ถ้าผมเข้าใจอะไรผิดก็ให้ชี้แนะด้วยครับ

Aging people can be non-Thai too. Captcha has many types. Maybe some types are suitable to them.

e sight and hearing problems like myself ?

I suppose their hearing is bad too. And audio can be worse since I think some of them (me too) aren't familiar with English listening.

We used to talk using NNTP and mailing list, but they are closed a few years ago. So we migrated to Lemmy. Our members are aging. Our eyesight is not good anymore. A lot of us are struggle with the captcha using by Lemmy.

I failed to create a community named การเขียนโปรแกรมภาษารัสท์ or ภาษารัสท์. Maybe the validator doesn't allow this. 🤔

I'm using Mojeek since it allows me to pay them using Interledger protocol. Proving if one is human is misleading. People want money so they should check whether one is paying instead. However, Mojeek search result IMAO now is terrible.
