well bioshock is probably not what you are looking for, maybe the first game is against wild capitalism but both 2 and infinite try very hard to do the "both sides bad" thing. still worth playing though, good games.

red faction 1 is an ancient game, and doesnt really have much of a story to tell, but you play as a miner that slaughters every capitalist guard on his way, eventually doing the same to mercs. so it gets points for the theme alone, even if the characters all suck. great fun if you like older fps games.

oddworld abes oddysey is another classic, it is heavily about worker exploitation and slavery. ratchet and clank trilogy also touches on such themes.

to be quite honest, you can find a lot of games where the capitalists/fascists and other bourgeois scum are the main villains, for example: fallout series, cyberpunk 2077, even star wars knights of the republic. but problem with these and many others is that they dont offer an in-game alternative. in fallout universe, capitalism literally ruined the world but for some reason there arent any powerful leftists factions. same with cyberpunk, corporations run the remains of america to the ground but all you care about is your own sorry ass and dont even attempt to do something good for the world. dissapointing but not unexpected from cdpr - they lost their political touch after witcher 1.

so it really is hard to recommend anything. it is best to shut your brain off and just enjoy games for what it is, trying to make sense out of it is rather pointless.

that cod mw reboot was actually a new low for call of duty propaganda. bunch of fucking drivel, of course false advertised beforehand about how "morally grey" it would be, lmao. other than that, good gunplay if they actually let you shoot and not do some scripted bullshit like these child sections. one of the most overrated cod campaigns ever.

one can say a lot (nothing good) about portrayal of soviets in black ops cold war, but the fact that they actually let you give a finger to the muricans was rather shocking, and gave me a huge grin on my face. the ending almost redeemed the game, almost. because sadly it was a mechanical downgrade from mw2019 in almost every way.

i mean look at that winning top tier public company strat

  • raise the prices to oblivion
  • take content away
  • produce new original content of questionable quality
  • region lock so many get to pay more for less
  • introduce a fuckton of restrictions to extract even more money
  • blindly follow other sheep-companies into the slaughter by sanctioning themselves out of lucrative markets for no reason

look how well its working, just look at them stonks

not far enough.

the concept of intellectual property should be abolished alltogether. the world kept spinning before it was a thing. we can live without it and save ourselves a lot of headache.

yep, enter the post-truth era where you can't prove anything. era where you can't trust any of your senses, aside from the gut maybe.

this will shake the very foundations of human societies, not for the better. BUT COOL FUNNY MEME POTENTIAL YEAA!

they seem to be near-extinct on windows sadly, apart from "otter browser". for something more up to date you are best off using one of the linux browsers like konqueror/gnome web via linux subsystem. that, or pale moon if one insists to not use firefox.

chrome is the new IE except no one gives a damn about monopolies anymore

firefox has its big flaws both as a product and as an organization (mozilla) but just by the virtue of not running chromium, it is the obvious choice. yeah yeah safari exists, but i dont own apple products so thats not a factor

people do not realize how big of a waste this propriatory garbage produces. in the past, post-corporate computers/devices were a great way to get some decent hardware for fair price. hardware that was no longer useful in offices or schools but could still serve extra years at home. old, worn down thinkpads with extra upgrades were great for that. just add some ram, a ssd, maybe the cpu before socketed mobile cpus were completely murdered because "omfg thin" and "but nobody changes cpu anyway lol". picking up a bottom end celeron laptop and upgrading to a high end c2d after all parts became cheap as dirt was a nice experience.

forget about all of that tho, because despite climate change fucking us over and resource scarcity is creeping in, WE NEED TO CONSUME and produce economical growth that will benefit big companies, who have no obligations other than profit for shareholders.

am i really that insane?
