He's much more competent and easily controlled by the dark gothic maga club (Thiel, Musk, Andreeson, other Yarvin-ites) and Heritage (Kevin Roberts), and Russ Vought (the main architect of Project 2025, a real true believer).

So in that sense, he'll be much more effective which is scary. However he has no control over the rabid MAGA base, so with that loss will come retraction of the full MAGA support, which could lead to splintering and ultimately the downfall of the fascists.
